Droit - L1 : US legal system

This course aims to provide a basic introduction to the law in the United States. Starting from the origins of American law, the lessons will introduce students to the United States constitution, the federal structure of the government, its court structure and its criminal procedure. Special attention will be paid to the way the political, social, and economic conditions underlie and impact the legal process.
